style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"what-science-tells-us\">Lo que nos dice la ciencia<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Existe radiaci\u00f3n por todo el espectro de energ\u00eda desde muy alta hasta muy baja. De acuerdo con la Sociedad Americana contra el C\u00e1ncer, no hay evidencia de que la exposici\u00f3n a la radiaci\u00f3n de ELF cause c\u00e1ncer. <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cancer.org\/cancer\/cancer-causes\/radiation-exposure\/extremely-low-frequency-radiation.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(ACS)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. La Agencia Internacional para la Investigaci\u00f3n del C\u00e1ncer (International Agency for Research on Cancer, IARC) tiene resultados similares, pero divide la radiaci\u00f3n de ELF en dos categor\u00edas: el\u00e9ctrica y magn\u00e9tica. El NIEHS recomienda que las personas determinen de d\u00f3nde proviene su exposici\u00f3n de ELF y que limiten el tiempo que pasen cerca de las fuentes. La radiaci\u00f3n de ELF proveniente del tendido el\u00e9ctrico, por ejemplo, disminuye significativamente a medida que aumenta la distancia del tendido el\u00e9ctrico. Cuanto m\u00e1s lejos est\u00e9, m\u00e1s seguro estar\u00e1 de la radiaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 id=\"bottom-line\">Conclusi\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>No queda claro que la radiaci\u00f3n de frecuencia extremadamente baja cause c\u00e1ncer, pero s\u00ed presenta alg\u00fan grado de riesgo m\u00e9dico.
