Who and what is the Zhu Center?

At the interdisciplinary Zhu Family Center for Global Cancer Prevention, our mission is to support groundbreaking research that develops and implements novel methods, technologies, and tools to further the translation of cancer prevention work into clinical and public health practice. We are dedicated to prevention education and research across the cancer continuum.

The Zhu Family Center for Global Cancer Prevention

The Zhu Family Center for Global Cancer Prevention at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health focuses on education and research aimed at preventing people from getting cancer as well as improving early detection.

Our mission is empowering people with reliable information for reducing cancer risk and promoting a healthy lifestyle.

We provide you with the latest evidence-based information about what does and does not cause cancer and the latest recommendations about reducing your risk of the disease.

We debunk myths about what does and does not cause cancer, promote awareness about screening and cancer-prevention methods, and inspire informed action to promote good health. We work toward the following goals.

Building a Community of Trust: we connect users with reliable resources to ensure a comprehensive understanding of cancer risks and prevention strategies.

Educating the Public: we offer clear, evidence-based information about the causes of cancer and risk-reduction strategies to help you make informed choices.

Fostering Engagement: we provide a platform where users can ask questions, share concerns, and find answers to common cancer-related claims.
